Vice President for Corporate Strategy, AURA
Jeremy Weirich has served as AURA’s Vice President for Corporate Strategy since 2018. Before joining AURA, Weirich served on the U.S. Senate’s Committee on Appropriations as the Staff Director (Majority Clerk) for the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, which directly funds several science agencies including NSF, NASA, NOAA, and NIST. Prior to joining the U.S. Senate, Weirich served as a Lieutenant Commander in the NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps having worked as a deck officer aboard ocean-going research and hydrographic vessels and coordinating underwater expeditions for ocean exploration. He received a BS from the Maine Maritime Academy and an MS from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
