Dr. Julianne Dalcanton is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Astronomy at the University of Washington. She has worked broadly across observational and theoretical topics related to the astrophysics of galaxies, and was awarded the Mohler Prize and the Beatrice Tinsley Prize for her work on resolved stellar populations.
